An exploration of the relationship between the smallest matter in the universe and its impact on our daily lives.
Particle Poetry invites you on an audio-visual journey that brings the mysterious world of intangible matter to life – the matter that fundamentally shapes our existence and lives. Our artistic work offers various interpretations of the effects and representation of these tiny building blocks of the universe, bringing them to life visually on our canvases.
The short answer: matter, elementary particles. There are two main types of these: matter particles and force particles.
Matter particles, including quarks and leptons, form the building blocks of everything that exists – from stars and planets to us humans. Even our thoughts ultimately arise from the interactions of these particles. While a single particle cannot think, the composition and interaction of these tiny units enable the emergence of consciousness.
To hold these particles together, force particles – also known as bosons – are required. They act as the mediators of the fundamental forces in the universe. Interestingly, as far as we know, elementary particles have no internal structure, making their study all the more fascinating.
This smallest matter is omnipresent, yet invisible to the naked eye. In Particle Poetry, we explore how these structureless particles influence the space of our exhibition and how they can be artistically represented.
Our machine-generated visualizations symbolize the hidden layers of humanity and our planet – aspects that often remain unseen in everyday life.
Particle Poetry is a creative interpretation of the tiny within the infinite – an attempt to translate the invisible into tangible visual experiences.
Step into a world that is both simple and complex, invisible yet omnipresent – a poetic engagement with the fundamental nature of our existence.
